Drum Major: Brian Berendts
Brian was the Drum Major of The Ohio State University Marching Band during the 1992 and 1993 football seasons. He served as Drum Major of Gahanna Lincoln High School in central Ohio before coming to OSU. Brian graduated from The Ohio State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio working as a clinical research nurse. Brian is one of the original founders of the annual Drum Major Spring Clinic at OSU. Look for Brian in the audience of high school football games and band festivals recruiting future Drum Majors for The Ohio State University Marching Band. |

Drum Major: Adam Prescott Adam was the Drum Major of The Ohio State University Marching Band in 2001 and 2002 and was named The Most Inspirational Bandperson (MIB) in 2002. Originally from Elyria, Ohio, Adam served as the Drum Major for Elyria High School for two years. He graduated from Ohio State in 2003 with a Bachelors degree in Economics. Adam now resides in Dallas, Texas where he is Vice President in Commerical Banking for JP Morgan Chase. He serves as Chairman of The OSU Drum Major Scholarship Committee and is a member of the TBDBITL Board of Governors. Adam was the founder of The Drum Major Training Program and first recipient of the Drum Major Scholarship. As an alumnus Adam volunteers his time to the OSUMB through mentoring the current and future Drum Majors of The Ohio State Marching Band. |

Drum Major: Shelley Graf Shelley was the Drum Major of The Ohio State University Marching Band in 1981. Shelley made history when she won this spot. Not only was she the first female to become drum major for OSU, but she also was the first female Drum Major in the Big Ten Conference. Originally from Sugar Grove, Ohio, Shelley served as the Head Majorette of Berne Union High School for three years before coming to OSU. She graduated from Ohio State with a degree in Physical Therapy. Shelley now resides in Columbus, Ohio where she is a Physical Therapist at OSU Medical Center. She serves as Faculty Advisor for the Drum Majors and is a member of the Drum Major Scholarship Committee. After serving as the President of the TBDBITL Alumni Board of Governors, Shelley was recognized for her strong leadership and dedication as a recipient of the "Script Ohio Award." |
